Photography is just one of my hobbies. I also enjoy golf, opera and computers (and, obviously, martinis). For many years, prior to retirement, I travelled to Africa and the Far East, always with a camera(s). In the days of film, I carried a Canon A1 and several lenses, and a Minolta Maxxum 9000, again with many lenses. In 1999, Laurie (my wife), gave me an Olympus 2000Z, and I have not used a film-based camera since. For Christmas 2003, she "upgraded" me to a Panasonic FZ10, and, as of Christmas 2005, I became the proud owner of an FZ30. Then in 2008 came the FZ50 I am a retired Chartered Accountant (40 years at Deloitte & Touche), now sitting on a few Boards.
